I'm Ralph, a recording engineer and producer based in London. Most of my work has been with indie, rock and pop artists, but I’m always open to working on something different. I enjoy working across different styles and seeing how each artist and song brings its own challenges and ideas to a session.

I got into recording through making music myself experimenting with electronic music and synthesisers. Over the years with guidance from producers such as Daniel Pratt recording became something I’ve become completely obsessed with. I love the creative side of recording, like taking an idea and figuring out how to turn it into something exciting and pushing a song further than we originally thought.

I like knowing the gear I use and, more importantly, knowing how to use it creatively. I’m always up for experimenting with microphones, outboard gear and different recording techniques to find something that works for the song, even if it’s not the conventional way of doing things.

I’m easy to work with and like keeping things relaxed in the studio. I want artists to feel comfortable trying things, throwing ideas around and being creative. I’ve worked in studios such as 123 Studios and with artists including Aqualine, Loveitoya. I have also worked on podcasts for grassroots bands at the Beanbag Sessions and live sound for the West End, and I now have my own professional space in London for smaller recording and production sessions.

In 2026, I was awarded the LEWITT Recording Engineering Excellence Award for my work, which was a great recognition of something I’ve spent years developing.

Ultimately, I just love making records and working with people who are excited about what they’re creating. Whether you’ve got a finished song or just a rough demo, I’m always up for getting stuck in, trying things out and seeing where we can take it together.
